DESCRIPTION:THE BUS STOP THEATRE CO-OP TRADE SCHOOL \n2 level courses on using SketchUP software: \nINTRO STUDIO\nDays 1 and 2: Sunday\, April 22 + Saturday\, April 28\n9:00 AM to 4:00 PM \n>> REGISTER HERE\n\nINTRO STUDIO is meant for anyone wanting to get involved in digital Set Design using the programme: SketchUP.\n\nAlthough designed as an architect’s tool\, SketchUP has emerged as the “go-to” drawing software for Film and Theatre Production Work as well as Industrial and Furniture Design due to its ease of use and extensive free library of theatre and “real-world” models.\n\nThe course is taught on Mac’s\, although if you have a PC the interface is almost identical. Students should have updated their operating system to the most recent Mac version (V10.13 at the time of printing). If your operating system is old\, you may need to go to the Apple store.\n\nOnce your operating system is up-to-speed\, you will need to install SketchUP MAKE. It is FREE!\nNote that while this software is still available\, changes are coming:\n\nhttps://www.sketchup.com/download/make\n\nWhat should you bring:\n .1 your lap-top computer and power block\,\n.2 a mouse that has a push-wheel (mac mice don’t)\,\n.3 note book. \nDownload the COURSE ITINERARY\n\nBefore the first class\, check out this you-tube video  \nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pv7TrGnZ17w \nDon’t be afraid to play with all the tools!
