DESCRIPTION:A story of resilience told with humour and song\, and memories of growing up in North End Halifax \nAward winning Jazz/Blues/Gospel singer Linda Carvery tells a story filled with humour\, struggles and strength\, and the experiences that made Linda who she is today. \nAfter a successful run in Guysborough during the summer of 2023\, audiences from the Halifax region now have the opportunity to experience Linda’s story. \nWatch Over Me is written and performed by Linda Carvery\, with musical accompaniment by Holly Arsenault and directed by Emmy Alcorn. The creative team includes Stephanie MacDonald (Stage Manager)\, Ryan Rafuse (Lighting Design)\, Janet MacLellan (Set and Costume Design)\, Mary-Colin Chisholm (Dramaturge). \nGeneral admission tickets are available for $25 plus taxes and fees.
