DESCRIPTION:The 18th annual Halifax Independent Filmmakers Festival takes place May 29-June 1. Join us for four days of boundary-pushing cinema from Canada and around the world\, filmmaker Q+As\, and more! Films this year include Vera Drew’s subversive satire THE PEOPLE’s JOKER; Sean Price William’s THE SWEET EAST\, the Palestinian drama FORAGERS\, a retrospective of the work of LULU KEATING\, and the ever-popular ATLANTIC AUTEURS shorts program.
