DESCRIPTION:A scruffy\, exhausted man is lost in the woods at nightfall with only a few sentimental objects in his pockets. DESCRIPTION:HALIFAX\, NOVA SCOTIA\nBUS STOP THEATRE\nJULY 25-29\, 2018 \nNext Act is an intensive 4-day training program and festival for improvisers ages 19 to 24. Registered participants take part in a series of in-depth improv training sessions with master instructors from across Canada while honing their skills at night – as members of a Next Act ensemble – through a series of performance opportunities at established local theatres and venues. \nThe festival\, held in a new city each year\, is also meant to expose young improvisers to the different improv communities (and rich Canadian theatre histories) of specific cities across Canada. Accordingly\, programming will include a selection of meaningful local experiences. \nRegistration includes:\n– 3 days of intensive workshops with master instructors\n– 3 nights of performances opportunities at Bus Stop Theatre\, alongside some of Halifax’s best improvisers\n– 4 days and nights of team-building\, social activities and local sight-seeing adventures\n– 1 super amazing Next Act Festival T-shirt\n– Unlimited special memories and high fives \nFull programming and our incredible list of instructors will be announced in March.
