DESCRIPTION:POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER – DATE TBD \nBack by popular demand\, the Future of Funny answers the question on all of our minds these days: Who’s funnier\, artificial intelligence or humans? \nIn an evening of dystopian comedy set in the year 2069\, six of Halifax’s top stand-up comedians (Kyle Barnet\, Jordan Foisy\, Luba Magnus\, Robbie Vino\, Steve Mackie and Dan Hendricken) will perform their best stand-up comedian routines\, then hand over their set-lists to the founder of the comedy-tech startup GiGGLE\, Nick Martinello. \nThe joke lists will be used as AI prompts to generate parallel comedy routines performed by the CyBoys; half-human\, half-machine joke slingers. The audience will vote on whether human comics are obsolete and subject to “termination” in the most gruesome way possible. \nGet your tickets now\, the fate of humanity is in your hands!
