DESCRIPTION:While We Wait is award winning\, local theatre company Gale Force Theatre’s most recent offering for children and their adults. This heart-filled play follows the year in the life of a young girl named Leo as she discovers a magical garden shed. How do we face unwanted change? What can the natural world tell us about presence\, control\, and connection if we watch and listen? This delightful piece features live scoring by percussionist Erin Donovan\, tabletop and shadow puppets\, and is an enchanting introduction to live theatre for families.\n \nRecommended for children ages 5-10. Run time 55 minutes.

SUMMARY:Gale Force Theatre Presents: Crypthand
DESCRIPTION:Part costume drama\, part queer love story\, part tragicomedy: ‘Crypthand‘ is inspired by the 19th century coded diaries of Anne Lister. Written by Lily Falk and directed by Laura Vingoe-Cram\, this award winning script follows two young girls at boarding school\, one raised in England\, the other in south India\, who find freedom and belonging with each other while the wider world closes in. Three actors take on this vibrant and dense universe playing schoolgirls\, religious sisters\, characters from Greek mythology\, and town councilors. The play is underscored with string arrangements by GaRRy Williams and performed by Alexa Kirste. \n\n  \nShow runs: \nSept 23\, 24 at 7:30pm September 25 at 2pm\, September 29\, 30\, October 1 at 7:30pm and October 2 at 2:00pm at the Bus Stop Theatre.
