DESCRIPTION:Bodyworks: A Trans Drag & Burlesque Showcase is back for another year! This show\, sponsored in part by Halifax Pride\, features a gender diverse cast of drag and burlesque performers. Often as trans performers\, we are expected to create work solely about our trauma. Bodyworks creates a safe space for performers to challenge the idea that our bodies are bad\, and to explore their trans self and body. Hosted by Hannibal Lickeder\, this year features performances by Babia Majora\, Helena Havok\, Izzy Limpwrist\, Lucky Charms\, Penny Cillin\, Queera Bang\, Randi E. Rogenous\, Richard Rockhard\, and Rita Booke.

The show consists of numbers focused on different body parts\, celebrating the trans body and challenging the misconception that our bodies only exist as a form of trauma. The cast includes Penny Cillin\, Mike Hunt\, Hannibal Lickeder\, Randi E. Rogenous\, Lucky Charms\, Queera Bang and Izzy Limpwrist. \nBodyworks is the sequel show to My Queer Audacity: Ikea Furniture\, which took place at the Bus Stop Theatre during Halifax Fringe 2023.
