Please take note that the Bus Stop Theatre Co-op Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on April 12th at 6:00pm AST. The meeting will be held online via a link to be sent to all registered members.
WHAT A YEAR PAST, WHAT A YEAR TO COME!
2020 has been a momentous year for the Bus Stop to say the least! We’ve successfully purchased our building and adapted to stay relevant during a pandemic. What’s more we’re now getting ready to undertake the most significant renovation project the theatre has ever seen!
WE NEED YOU IN ATTENDANCE
Moving forward, it’s imperative that we have high membership attendance at our AGM (at least 50%) in order to make crucial changes to our bylaws and to elect our new board of directors. We understand there’s perhaps not much appeal in yet another online meeting, however failing to reach our meeting quorum would have serious implications on our organization moving forward in this new chapter for the Bus Stop. We will be keeping the business portion of this meeting brief and to the point (with informal time for additional questions and discussion afterwards).
Please take a moment to register to attend by filling out this FORM: https://forms.gle/
Members must register in advance to receive the AGM meeting link and attend. Each registered member will also be entered into a draw to win a DOOR PRIZE!! The winner can chose between a FREE Company Level membership for 2022 OR a FREE day’s rental at the Bus Stop Theatre!
Please note that Company members must register their chosen voting representative at the meeting. Multiple persons may attend as observers on behalf of a Company member, however only one person can be registered as the voting representative. As per the NS Co-operative Act, each member will receive one vote, regardless of how the membership is tiered by cost or size.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
We’ve successfully overcome immense challenges over the last year thanks to you, our members. We’re now calling on you again to attend this very important AGM. See you there!
