Originally founded in 2011 by Artistic Producer Nancy Kenny, Broken Turtle Productions is a bilingual (French/English) theatre & film production company that tells thought-provoking and entertaining stories, with a focus on exploring the role of women, marginalized genders, and 2SLGBTQ+ people in society. Past productions include the critically acclaimed, Canadian Comedy Award nominated one-person show, Roller Derby Saved My Soul, and the award-winning documentary film, On the Fringe – Best Documentary Film – 2023 Screen Nova Scotia Awards.
