π½ MOVIE NIGHT
β¨ We invite you to a special movie night dedicated to a theme that is the pain not only of one nation, but of all Ukraine.
A VOICE THROUGH THE SCREEN:
THE TRAGEDY OF THE CRIMEAN TATARS β THE PAIN OF ALL UKRAINE
βΈ»
πΏ Who are the Crimean Tatars?
The Crimean Tatars are the Indigenous people of Crimea, who have lived on the peninsula for centuries, preserving their unique culture, language, and traditions. Yet the history of their people has been marked by tragedies:
β’ In 1944, the entire nation was deported by the Soviet regime, a crime against humanity.
β’ After decades in exile, they returned home, but since 2014 they have faced a new wave of persecution due to Russiaβs occupation of Crimea.
The film we present is not only about the pain of the Crimean Tatars, but also about the pain of all Ukraine, for the fate of Crimea is inseparably linked with the future of the Ukrainian state.
