Join us for the Amber Drift design lab and workshop lead by Matthew Downey. Aimed at people who have already attended one of Matt’s previous basics of lighting workshops, or new designers and directors with some previous experience and basic knowledge of theatrical lighting.
A hands on afternoon of lighting exploration, experimentation and creation, with a small element of found object\cheap materials set design. Designed to help designers and directors realize concepts, and as a creative exercise for those who just want to experiment.
Free to Coop Members, $30 for public.

Matthew Downey is a Merritt award-winning technician and designer who over many years has collaborated with most of Halifax’s theatre and dance companies. Matthew is Technical Director at the Bus Stop Theatre and has for many years been a contracted technician and designer a the Bus Stop and elsewhere.
