Learn the basics of how to run lights at the Bus Stop!
SPACE IS VERY LIMITED, and will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
This Black Box Basics workshop is facilitated by Merritt award-winning technician/designer Matthew Downey and will provide the opportunity for participants to learn about technical theatre. It will give participants the skill-set to be able to run the lighting equipment of the Bus Stop (or any other similar black box theatre), as well as briefly touch on lighting design for small spaces. Participants will have the opportunity for hands-on usage of the equipment, and will be instructed in the capabilities of a wide range of technical equipment and tips on how to wrangle such equipment in various spaces.
Who can attend? Anyone!
