One of Bus Stop Theatre’s own writer’s circle members has a new book out.
Cutting through the cacophony of language sure is hard for Elalarn after only speaking Folk her whole life. A princess on the run, Elalarn must leave her home and everything she’s ever known behind and dive into a new world in search of her heritage. Together with her strange new foster family, she searches for her origins, but is it wise to look into her hidden past?
The book uses dyslexia friendly font and features just a hint of local flare in the photography used in the cover design. This is the second book in a planned series.
Continuing from the events in Pauper Princess, many of Orphan Dreams revisions were workshopped at the Bus Stop Theatre writers’ circle. Originally from Dartmouth, Georgina now lives in Halifax with her husband, baby, and pets. Finding time for writing as a new mother has been difficult, but thanks to the group’s encouragement and motivation, she was able to complete her manuscript.
Please come out to celebrate the launch of Orphan Dreams at the Bus Stop Theatre on Thursday January 30th. Doors open at 6:30pm.
