The 18th annual Halifax Independent Filmmakers Festival takes place May 29-June 1. Join us for four days of boundary-pushing cinema from Canada and around the world, filmmaker Q+As, and more! Films this year include Vera Drew’s subversive satire THE PEOPLE’s JOKER; Sean Price William’s THE SWEET EAST, the Palestinian drama FORAGERS, a retrospective of the work of LULU KEATING, and the ever-popular ATLANTIC AUTEURS shorts program.
