Hip Hop Ed.: S.T.E.M. Flow

Students, 13yrs to 18yrs, will meet with mentors to talk about and discuss the possibilities of pursuing careers in the Science, Technology, Engineering Applied Arts and Math. Object is also to learn about science while still in school through music and poetry.

The students will choose a field and/or subject in which they are interested in, will write a full poem or song in R & B or the hiphop genres, move onto a writing workshop with local musicians and then perform their new songs for an audience of their peers, teachers and families.
