Celebrating African Heritage History Month!
Students, 13yrs to 18yrs, will meet with mentors to talk about and discuss the possibilities of pursuing careers in the Science, Technology, Engineering, Applied Arts and Math fields. Students will engage in writing workshops with local Hiphop artists, write and perform songs about their chosen subject for an audience of their peers, teachers and families.
Watch it all unfold as students Rap Battle their way to win awards for best lyrics, most hype and audience choice!
This event will bring attention to transforming teaching and learning & engagement in the sciences.
