QUEER MAGIC is en evening of connection, celebration, sharing, and most importantly, a magic show! This event will feature comedy openers from HMC’s ‘queer mental health and comedy program’ and a full length show from our featured performer, Magician Bill Wood.
This event aims to help build queer community and connection in Halifax among people who care about mental health, in a fun & low-pressure social setting.
Light refereshments will be provided and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. Registration is appreciated, but not mandatory.
About Magician Bill Wood
Bill Wood is a magician, comedian, actor and a delight. He has been performing magic professionally for over 25 years. You might recognize him from his work with comedy troupe Picnicface or as Frank the guidance counselor on CBC’s Mr. D.
As a magician he has performed in Comedy Clubs, at Corporate events and in the finest living rooms filled with friends and family. He has toured around the maritimes as part of Atlantic Cirque and he has presented his current full evening show at the Chester PlayHouse, Neptune Theatre, and many other venues.
