suddenlyLISTEN: Cory Bowles Unleashed

is known well as an actor (Trailer Park Boys); an award winning film director and writer (Black Cop); a  dancer/choreographer (Verve Mwendo); a musician (Hip Club Groove); and an activist and community leader. And    he’s an improviser, so suddenlyLISTEN has invited Cory to explore any and all of these worlds with two local master  improvisers, Norman Adams (cello/processing) and D’Arcy  Gray (percussion). The concert will mash together music, comedy, spoken word, and movement all in one night. This  is an evening of virtuosity not to be missed!

suddenlyLISTEN, based in Halifax and founded in 2000, is focused exclusively on exploratory, improvised chamber  music and creative art events. Celebrating improvisation, it aims to open minds and ears through unique listening  adventures and hands-on experiences.
