This agreement is between _________(hereinafter referred to as “the Artist”) and the Bus Stop Theatre Co-op (hereinafter referred to as “the BSTC”) for the artwork/installation of _____________(hereinafter referred to as the Installation)

The BSTC agrees to display the consigned installation by the Artist for a contract term beginning _________ and ending __________. The following commission/payment terms will apply to each piece of artwork sold by the BSTC : 10 % (commission to the BSTC),    90 % (payment to the Artist). 

By signing this document, both parties agree to each stipulation listed in this Agreement: 

1. The Artist retains ownership of all work consigned to or represented by the BSTC. The Artist retains copyright to all consigned artwork in perpetuity, as governed by law.
2. Retail sales price for each consigned artwork will be established by the Artist in consultation with the BSTC.
3. The BSTC will exert all reasonable efforts to close sales of consigned artwork. The Artist agrees to provide the BSTC, in a timely fashion and upon request, with any necessary documents or information in support of sales.
4. Payment to the Artist will be provided within 30 days after receipt of payment from Buyer to the BSTC. Artwork will not be released by the BTSC to Buyer until the closing date of the installation. Upon the Artist request, the BSTC will provide the Artist with account statements of sales activity for all pieces included in the installation.
5. The BSTC will maintain insurance for fire/ theft/ vandalism, and declares that all consigned artwork will be covered by said insurance while in the BSTC’s possession. Reasonable efforts will be made to protect consigned artwork from accidental damage or breakage. Insurance liability for accidental damage or breakage is not provided by the BSTC. 
6. Work accepted into the gallery will remain for the entire duration of the contracted term. Exceptions to this stipulation may be negotiated between the Artist and the BSTC on a case-by-case basis. The BSTC will extend efforts to accommodate unique and special opportunities that arise, including participation in limited-duration festivals and weekend events. For these opportunities, the Artist must provide work from their own inventory.
7. The BSTC agrees to hold on premises and display as appropriate all artwork described on attached inventory, which is an addendum to this contract. 
8. Terms of this contract begin: ___________ and ends: _____________. Terms may be renewable upon agreement by both parties. This contract may be voided upon thirty (30) days notice by either party. 
9. Should the consigned artwork remain unsold at the end of contract term, and if contract term is not renewed, the Artist must retrieve their work in a timely manner.
