Meet the Comedians

Ethan O’Reilly

Ethan O’Reilly is a stand up comedian based out of Toronto, Ontario. His eccentric observations about himself and his surroundings provide a different light on everyday life.
He has had his act played through the airwaves of SiriusXM, was featured at Levity Comedy Club and was recently nominated for an I Heart Joke Award.

Ethan co-produces a monthly show in Toronto called Cabbage Head Comedy and is currently striving to travel his act across Canada.

AJ Bate

AJ Bate is new to Canada and is still experiencing his new found freedom. On stage you can find him sharing his experience living here, from dating to being mistaken for a Mexican.
He has performed all over Ontario and was recently a finalist in Comedian of the North and CBC’s Next Up.

Joe Botelho

Hamilton comic Joe Botelho has been all over Ontario and Quebec and is known already for his quick wit and his audience connecting crowd work. His love of his wife and kids is only matched by his love of using them in his set! Exposing the real thoughts of the blue collar
hard working average joe. Joe has been part of the Brantford Rising Stars, Go Yuk Yourself and Comedian of the North Comedy festivals and competitions. Joe has also appeared on on Ed the Sock’s FU Network and can be seen on the stages of Yuk Yuk’s and Absolute Comedy Clubs.

Matt Keenan

Matt Keenan is a Comedian from the small town of Hampton, NB now living in the big city of Toronto, ON.

On only his 7th time on stage, he took 3rd place in the CBC Radio HubCap Comedy Competition, competing against amateurs and seasoned vets from across The Maritimes. Soon after, he claimed 1st place, in James Mullinger’s Comedy Boot Camp earning him the title of New Brunswick’s funniest. With club and corporate bookings, appearances at the High Tide Comedy Festival and Comedian of the North, he is quickly becoming one of the most sought
after comedian on the east coast.

Whether it’s clean or dirty, with his dry candid manor, Matt finds a way of making dark topics
silly with his hilarious observations, quirky one-liners and masterful misdirection, he has jokes
for everyone and is not to be missed.
