Africville: A Call for Justice

Join us for a lively and passionate discussion about the political and social challenges Africville still faces, even after 29 years in the Canadian judicial system.

Introduction and Feature Film:

Part 1: A free viewing of the groundbreaking legal/archival film, “The Narrows”, introduced by producer/director Stephanie A. Daye.

Part 2: Panel Discussion regarding the importance of Africville within a Judicial Framework and its legacy.

Panel: Host Nailah Tataa

Prominent speakers, authors and professors, Isaac Saney, Chevy Eugene and Robyn Maynard take the stage to focus on the hidden truths behind Africville. Joining them on stage is Africville resident, Steven Brown Sr.
