East Coast Comedy Pride Tour

July 26 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Award-winning comedians Tom Hearn and Ajahnis Charley have teamed up to serve a two-act sketch comedy show that is NOT TO BE MISSED! Each act brings 45 minutes of the best solo sketch comedy Canada has to offer: Original characters, jaw-dropping musical numbers, impressions and so much more, but the party doesn’t stop there – our intermission features local drag performances! CATCH BOTH shows before they take the Edinburgh Fringe by storm this August!

ACT I:

Ajahnis Charley: The Best of Live

Ajahnis Charley (they/them/that b*tch) is a Black, non-binary comedian and is one of the 2022 Just For Laughs’ New Faces of Comedy: Canada.

They are an alum of The Second City Touring Company, and have performed award-winning solo sketch comedy across North America, including at The Stonewall Inn as part of the New York Comedy Festival. Ajahnis was story editor on comedy series Bria Mack Gets A Life, Stay Tooned, Dirts, and writes for news satire platforms This Hour Has 22 Minutes, The Beaverton and Because News. If you hear a pun about butts in Canadian media, they likely had something to do with it.

Their hit solo sketch show ‘THOTS & PRAYERS’ has been performed internationally, and their 2023 sketch show ‘Wanted’ won Best of the Fest at Montreal Sketch Fest. Ajahnis is a co-founder and co-producer of the Untitled Black Sketch Project, Canada’s first all-Black sketch ensemble.

ACT: II

Tom Hearn: ‘How Fabulous Is That?!’

‘How Fabulous Is That?!’: Tom Hearn’s brand new show! Jam packed with jaw-dropping musical performances and gag-worthy original characters and OF COURSE an ensemble of iconic impressions – ‘Martha Stewart’, ‘James Corden’ and the icon ’Ina Garten.’

With over 500K followers and 130 million views on social media, Tom has earned the title of “The Best Queer TikTok Creators To Follow In 2023” by ET Canada. Tom has been featured on Delish, NBC’s Today Show and the BBC. ‘How Fabulous Is That?!’ is on a world tour in conjunction with LIVE NATION.

Tom is an alumni of the ‘Second City National Touring Company’, the winner of multiple ‘Best of the Fest’ awards for his show ‘Gay Garbage’ and a Canadian Comedy Award winner. Tom can also be seen in various film and TV projects: ‘Children Ruin Everything’ (CTV/The CW), ‘Good Sam’ (CBS), ‘What We Do In The Shadows’ (FX), ‘The Social’ (CTV), ‘Making Scents of Love’ (Hallmark/Tubi), ‘The Good Stuff with Mary Berg’ (CTV), ‘SkyMed’ (Paramount/CBC), and the upcoming ‘How to Die Alone’ (Hulu), ‘Cross’ (CBS) and ‘Roast Battles: Canada’ (Bell/JFL).
