The StART Festival is back for its fourth year! We are thrilled to bring exciting work and performances to you from Halifax’s emerging artists. Featuring a diverse array of artists in a wide range of performance and visual art forms, the StART Festival’s 2017 line-up offers audiences cutting edge artistic experiences by local creators.
The StART Festival runs from Saturday March 25th to Sunday March 26th with a special soft launch on Friday, March 24th in collaboration with SYNC taking place at The Bus Stop Theatre. Please take a peek at our full list of participating artists below!

– SYNC x StART Festival: Century Egg Crossed Wires Mikaylaa States – Friday, March 24th –
The StArt Festival and the SYNC: Music Video Program are teaming up to bring you a FREE All Ages night of music and screenings.This event will be the world premiere of three music videos that were made through the Atlantic Filmmaker Cooperative’s SYNC program. And will include live performances by the three groups that took part in the program.

Come out for a fun filled evening of African and Caribbean vibes. Our opening night will showcase and celebrate music, poetry, dancing and visual arts from local emerging BIPOC artists!
