The Bus Stop Theatre Co-op presents WIT: Women in Theatre, a three-day celebration, showcase, and skill-building weekend of love.
Women, females, femmes, and the feminine, 2018 is our year.
Join us March 30-April 1st or a series of workshops, readings, and laughter. WIT provides an opportunity for women off all skill levels to learn from other women and engage with their peers.
FRIDAY:
Learn to fight with Karen Bassett [workshop] 10am – 12pm
Mix some sick beats with DJ lil’ arepa! [workshop] 1pm – 3pm
Women in Theatre panel 6 – 7:30pm
The Witches Ball — Get down with your inner feminine magic 9pm

Analyse text like a director with Lara Lewis and Anna Shepard [workshop] 11am – 4pm
Readings + film screenings of local women’s work 7:30pm
Open mic + Karaoke 9:30pm

SUNDAY:
Learn how to make people laugh (improv) with Stepheny Hunter [workshop] 11am – 4pm
April Fool’s Femme comedy night 7:30pm

Workshops: Pay in cash: $30 for all four or $10 each. Workshops are closed spaces for femmes.
