JimiBill is a woman’s recounting of the vivid memories of her past and her relationship with her father. He fell victim to addiction, depression and homelessness. As she takes on the role of her father she tells the story from his perspective. In it’s raw approach the play is a cathartic and personal journey of the artist, writer, and human being Genevieve is today.
Based on true life events, although not limited to, JimiBill draws a line between what the truth may be and what the writer has assumed. At it’s core, it’s truly about a father and daughter who are physically disconnected yet emotionally magnetized to the others existence and purpose.
